CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR DESIGN REVIEW AND CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISION OF LOT 2 KITALE-ENDEBESS-SUAM PROJECT
The road is approximately 45 Km long. It is situated in the in the North Rift Valley Region of Kenya. It starts at Kitale town at the junction with A1 road and run northwards through trading centres of Endebess and ends at Suam, the National boundary with Uganda.
The works involve new construction of bituminous single carriageway road with approximately 3.9 kms dual carriageway within Kitale Town.
In addition, the works of contract include upgrading works under Double Bituminous Surface Treatment, and rehabilitation and widening works of urban roads and replacement of three old Bridges.
Hydraulic: road surface drainage with the drainage of stormwater runoff from the road surface and the surfaces adjacent.
Subsurface drainage and Erosion protection measures for the slopes along the roads.
