The project consists of upgrading 2km road to a dual carriageway comprising of two 8.2m wide surfaced roadways, upgrade various local accesses, construct new access roads and public transport interchange.
There is also a construction of Mechanically Stabilised Earth (MSE) retaining wall which is 850m long with height varies between 2m to 12m high.
The project also included the following Drainage Infrastructures: (i) Road surface drainage with the drainage of stormwater runoff; (ii) Subsurface drainage with the interception and disposal of groundwater flows; (iii) Erosion protection measures for the slopes.
