The main objective of the assignment is to undertake consultancy services on behalf of TANROADS for the
- Feasibility study including the preliminary design, cost estimates, preliminary environmental and social assessment as well as preliminarily Resettlement Action Plan;
- Detailed engineering design, preparation of pre-qualification and bidding documents.
The project included upgrading works under Double Bituminous Surface Treatment, and rehabilitation and widening works of urban roads.
The project also included the following Drainage Infrastructures: (i) Road surface drainage with the drainage of stormwater runoff; (ii) Subsurface drainage with the interception and disposal of groundwater flows; (iii) Erosion protection measures for the slopes.
Activities:
- Feasibility study (Desk Study, Route Corridor selection by use of spatial analysis software like ArcGIS, Google Earth and GMap)
- Detailed Design; (field surveys; topographical investigations, soils and materials investigations, engineering drawings, etc);
- Environmental Impacts Assessment, Inception Report; Draft Design Report;
- Development of Environmental and Social Management Plan and Resettlement Action Plan;
